Hideeho there nieghbors from abroad!
Checking out the scene here, coming from a site called Drytear. Needed a change.
This looks like a good place to get snuggled in and enjoy.
Oh, and hello to those I know.

PHIL!!!!!!! What a treat and an honor to find you've joined our alternate universe of poetry!!!!!! I'm grinning like a loon with the knowledge! I was about to log-out as it's late and I'm rather whipped from work, today, but, I'm glad I checked out this thread! Now, I'm off to the Land of Nodz with a big smile! Thanks for that, mi compadre! Hugs to all three of you.
I've been agitated with my talent and the poetry circles I run in.
It's all rather stagnent, and the people are as stiff as boards over there.
When I thought of how honest and descriptive the comments I recieved from you, Sabrina, I knew I needed more of that style.
How active has it been here lately? Do you see a patern in terms of those who log in here?
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
As much as I've recieved over the years, I'd be more then happy to give it back ten times.
It's just a matter of finding those who are open to recieving it.

Hugs backatcha, Phil! I reiterate, it's a treat and an honor to have you join us. We seek not to replace other poetry sites, simply to allow poets a non-combative atmosphere in which to express themselves however and in whatever way they please.
We are kicking around the idea of creating a "workshop" type board, where if one would like suggestions concerning work they are not sure of, it can be found there.
Our activity stream is fluidic here. It goes up and down. No real patterns from those who log in. Many of our members have full time jobs, etc...that require the lionshare of their attention, so, they hop in sporadically. We are a small group without expectations from other poets other than that they write as inspired to do so.
You help simply by being here and sharing your work! As well as, of course, commenting on the work of others that you like. Some of us put one piece per thread; others post many pieces per thread...It's up to you how you wish to post...
We are a "young" site. Still growing and evolving, largely due to the talent of those whom choose to share here.
Have fun checking out any or all of the boards at your whim and will. We even have a blogger board, though it's not been used much, yet...
Take care and may all of you be having a wonderful weekend. I have to work, so I hope someone has a wonderful weekend for me!!!!
Nightnightie, sweet pretties! Sabrina.

concur with Sabrina's comments, but I'll just add a few more (which are entirely personal and without prejudice LOL)
The forum has been active for three years .... members have come and gone (unfortunately some had to go, because they could not comply to the manifesto we wrote on day ONE)
It's still there unaltered as an a\announcement ...
Nothing has changed .... But people sometimes change, they stop writing for various reasons .... maybe people don't post because we don't give out awards like other forums. Maybe life just gets in the way.
I write and comment when the muse winks, I never deem to tell a poet what's right or wrong about about a piece .... okay if your writing in formal style 'Sonnet, limerick etc' .... the rules are there!
In conclusion, this site is what you make it.
