I've never had it that bad. You just take it real easy. Maybe the MRI will show something different and treatable, because I understand there is nothing to do but stop everything (because it's like any inflammation, it takes time to go away). My best to you.

Well, turned out I couldn't afford the MRI. My insurance won't cover it, as I haven't met my deductible yet. Thirteen hundred dollars for this! I spoke with my doctor about it, yesterday, and since I am starting to show signs of "coming out of the woods", we decided to hold on that for now. On an upnote, the past forty-eight hours, have been positive. I've been walking, al beit, a slow walk. And am starting to do gentle stretches for sciatica. First week, was stop everything week. This week, is physical therapy week lol I am taking two weeks leave from work and hoping that will be enough to get me back in the game. Thanks for your tea and sympathy, sweets. It means much to me.

Saw my doctor this morning. Count me officially depressed. She thinks I still need to be off work for another two to four weeks. Sciatica SUCKS! She said if I had a sit down job, it would be one thing. But, because I am a cake decorator and stand all day and do a fair amount of heavy lifting, she feels if I go back to work now, I will subtract from the healing I've accomplished the last two weeks of being off. Good thing is, I do have a short and long term disability plan. However, I found out this morning, when I called the company, I do have to wait to be approved for such. Got my fingers crossed although I do not see any reason why I wouldn't be approved.

It is a good thing you have that disability, because they have to save your job for you. And it is your doctor's orders, so I don't think they can say anything but yes. Hoping for the best for you. You were complaining about not having any time for yourself. Now you just need to be careful about what else you wish for (ha).

Thanks for best wishes, sweet Heart! I was thinking of that same thing earlier, today. I was whining about not having any time to do anything but work, work, work. Then I "broke" myself. And now, I'm whining about not being able to work and support my family. lol Yes, in the future, I will be very careful what I wish for...Or perhaps, I'm on a roll and should start wishing for more money and lots and lots and lots of it! lol

Good morning to you!!! You sound chipper. Is that the pain pills or did you win the lottery? (ha)

Pain pills...To date, winning the lottery eludes me lol I did feel chipper Friday. Back felt better than its felt since June 12th...but, Saturday and Sunday, felt like I took steps backwards with the pain. Seems to be the nature of the beast. Some days, you feel better, if only, minimally; and other days, you feel worse...

That is great news (I think). Hope you don't overdo it again. Leave time for yourself - breathing in the inspiration and breathing out the words. Stay well!!!

Well, like everything else in life, going back to work has it's good and bad angles, Dora. lol I'm glad to be up and moving better than I have since June 12. However, I'm finding being 100% at home and being 100% at work, are two entirely different things! lol But, I'm trying to hang in there and realize, hopefully, each day will get better and better. I've lived my entire adult life taking one leap of faith right after another, why stop now? ? hehe Hope you and the rest of the poetical crew are having and have a great week!
