~Untitled I
June skies shudder and shake with ominous mutters and mumbles of thunder
Interspersed with shivers of lightning ripping the heavens asunder
Atmosphere liquifies pitter-patters to the ground dripdripdrops from tree crowns
Slips in sheets from roof top eaves slides wet fingers past collars down the backs of necks
And generally amuses me as I sit upon the outside stair steps, merlot fuzzed, puffing a cigarette

I wish the atmosphere in this desert metropolis would "liquify." I haven't seen a good rain in a "long" time. Lucky you!!!! I feel a little cooler after reading this (ha)

Thanks, sweets, for your read and comments. We don't usually get rain in June, so, this was a welcome respite. Wishing you rain...
