Contemplating One

Mind is the time and place of diversity,
billions of lives experienced differently,
but the Heart is the place of oneness
where the One embraces us all.

In time we begin, expand, and diminish
but timeless oneness is where we finish,
when mind is free to accept and embrace
the reflection of God in every face.

I like that you repeated the first stanza and utilized it as your third and last stanza. It opened the piece, as well as it closed the piece...I agree with David..."Great awareness"...*Exalt*

Thank you both for reading. I really appreciate your comments. I like this poem for touching on oneness, but "Still Free" for touching on duality. Most of my poetry seems to go in File 13 because of the struggle talked about in that poem. Thanks again for the exalt.
