Me? Currently, I am slogging my way through a fascinating if drily written biography titled, 'Isabella of Castile' by Nancy Rubin.
I am also reading another non-fiction book, titled, 'The Lady in Gold, The Extraordinary Tale of Gustav Klimt's Masterpiece, Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer by Anne-Marie O'Connor. Anyone that adores art and history well written will enjoy this book. The Bloch-Bauer's were Jewish art patrons in turn of the century Vienna. Before Austria sided with Germany, and happily opened it's borders to Hitler in the late thirties. Gleefully entering into the atrocities the Nazis committed within it's borders, until Hitler was defeated and then Austria claimed to be his first victim...Read it! You'll love it! I promise.
I am also skimming the "poetry" titled, 'grapefruit A Book of Instructions and Drawings by Yoko Ono. I am undecided whether I personally consider this poetry, but, it is interesting peeking into her brain activity...A friend that adores it, made me promise to read it and forced me to take it...And now he keeps asking me, what do I think of it? He's a big fan of The Yoko. And he's only twenty...gigglegiggle...Go figure...

Hey - I have to respond to this for two reasons: 1) Love your glasses and new pix!!! and 2) a little something about Yoko Ono. In the '60s I went to a party and used the bathroom. When I closed the door, I got the shock of my life: John and Yoko standing there two feet from my face in their birthday suits. I was kind of mesmerized. I had never seen nudity before (honest) and I guess that was my initiation into the "make love, not war" '60s. (ha)

Glad you added the post script, because for a second, I was trying to figure out how you managed to walk into a powder room and find John and Yoko with all their bits loose...lol
That was a great little story, lady dame! Loved it.
Thanks for comments on pic and new glasses. I am still adjusting to them. Not sure if I like them or not. They are so heavy they are grinding holes in the sides of my probiscus!!!!!!! lol

I'm re-reading Isaac Asimov's original Foundation novel. I also have the two sequels to it so I'm reading them back-to back-to back. The other two, btw, are Foundation and Empire and Second Foundation.
This might take me a couple months to get through...

It's been a long time since I've read any of Isaac Asimov's works. Enjoy!!!!!

Reading the fabulous Donna Tartt, again. The Goldfinch. Just ordered three more hardbacks from Amazon last night. Should be here by the time I get "out of the trenches" aka off work...LoL...Looking forward to them. One of them, is the first in the George R.R. Martin Game of Thrones book series. I have most of the televised version of the books on cable. Thoroughly enjoyed and enjoying them. So, I am interested in reading the story...

'The Golem and the Jinni' is turning out to be an interesting little tale, also.
