You should start by writing your story, they say.
Ah, how sweet to be so naive. How precious to be so gullible.
If, if I, finally put pen to paper and started with my memoirs
my fan club would be horrified, repulsed and shocked.
Black tears their eyes would bleed as they cried
helplessly, tar dark snot running from nostrils
flaring to breathe as they sobbed.
They would beg, nay, plead with me to shut up.
To stop. To never speak nor write, again.
Reality is always scarier than fantasy.

I say I shall not write a book.
