There I was marooned on solid ground When you threw me a life vest
Swimming across a wide ocean was a breeze ..
Then here you were, your circus days behind you Grinning like a loon at my bilious disposition
(Volcanic ash dripping from my beard)
The pet you smuggled from the big tent was fiesty and licked her lips at fresh meat
Then there we were a coalition of dreams, colliding continental plates without an earthquake
(adolescent seismic rumbles apart)
Now here we are five years married tornado survivors both literal and metaphorical solid in our understanding that time and space is always relative, but love is constant.

I love this; Such a roller coaster ride. But still hanging on to one another. What a picture it painted in my mind Of love and Life.
