Your blood beats through my open heart Let what time and space have torn apart
Be restitched with shared bone and sinew Of our planned resolve to begin anew
In womb time we frolicked sleek and round Blank blind eggs existing in a layer of sound
Then one at a time we grew limbs and jumped down from heaven to the ground haphazard seedlings sown
Thrown from the hands of our shared parents into the bitter soil of their angst and laments
Let us lay down the fiery stones and harsh words of their acrid love/hate adult dance with swords
(They never loved us as much as we loved them They were twin gods of nightmare and bedlam)
But, your blood beats through my open heart Let what time and space have torn apart
Be restitched with shared bone and sinew Of our planned resolve to begin anew
Let's be blank blind eggs sleek and round frolicking together through a layer of sound

I just like the drift of these two lines like chewing on a red rhubarb stalk and walking into nowhere....the Ramones could have used these lines for a better song and it does beckon me to drift on....I like this couplet and I still cannot explain why but it rocks somewhere deeper...

I am glad you posted in this one again I missed it the first time I love this one, I wish I knew if I had any flesh and blood siblings, but, being adopted, i don't know.
