Intertwined

I contemplate a Mobius state of mind
where self and selfless consciousness intertwine
to follow a line that never strays
from a center that exists on both sides.

Somewhere, somehow the two become one
in a moment of acceptance, an act of forgiveness,
when Love becomes everything
and everything else becomes nothing,

For there are no sides in the center
where Heaven and earth cling together.
Neither good nor evil can pull them apart
when Love completes the circle of the Heart.

Thank you, Phantasm! I have to ask you - do you know what I mean about a Mobius strip of paper being twisted to join the other end? Then you can take a pen and draw a line on the center of both sides (without ever lifting the pen off the paper) because both sides are really one side. It is so fun to contemplate this!!! Of course, they probably teach this in grade school, but I'm sure they miss the beauty of it.

Actually, yeah, I learned about those in high school.

At least, that's my clearest memory of it for some reason.
Pretty sure I knew about them before then.
