Where once a majestic stand of towering oaks stood a monument to synchronicity seeded from the choice acorns of the best made plans and sugar plum dreams
Now lies a swarthy swath of smouldering asinine ash occasional pewter tendrils of fire blasted foliage sending S.O.S. signals to the empty blue heavens
This dour vignette all that is left of us in the aftermath of one passing freak lightning storm too many
Welcome to the New Age of you and me

How many times does lightning have to strike from the clear blue sky For you to realize there is something more than dumb luck coming your way?
You've grown too tall for your own good, your profile is too prominent Your own way of doing things is too dominant Everyone can see you from miles away, and then you wonder why you're taking flak It's because of all your sins It's because you build a world where no one wins Except for the people at the very top.
How can you keep going and ignore the smell of smoldering wood in the morning?
