adroit, affable, bedraggled, cantankerous, frisky

Sometimes we think we can only find something of value
In the adroit
The affable
The charming and frisky
Or those with an air of authority
But if you walk around with open eyes and open mind
Really looking
Not just navigating what you expect to find
You may find
Little jewels
Profoundly humbling nuggets
Of just the inspiration you needed for your life at that moment
And you may find it
Hiding in plain sight
Looking bedraggled
Or acting cantankerous!!

I love Rosie O'donnell, because she has a slingshot
and she is so affable especially when she's bedraggled
she hit me when I was so cantankerous as to lob
a frisky dried lima bean right into her face
her bodyguard was quite adroit about me
it was a good right hook that left us both laughing
I told her I missed her talk show
and she smirked, that she did not
and all I could say, if your such a good boxer
I will have to be a better Boston Terrier
I made her smile, look me in the eye
well, that was a meeting, short and sweet
