I am trying, Amy, to give this place the attention it deserves.
Refocus my energies on the "house that David and I built",
what seems like decades ago now. Instead of barely eleven years!

I would like to give the site a more modern feel.
Learning how to do my own memes led to me doing my shortest pieces
with a chosen background. Which then inspired me to do so,
with the shorter poems some of you have penned.

Your's was the first one, other that my own few,
that fit the meme format I am learning to do.

With me working full time and David rarely
poeming or joining in the admin duties
here, due to his own work, I've often
thought of adding a junior admin
or two, to help us keep the place
invigorated and more inviting
to existing members and members
soon to come and be...

Speaking of which, some newbies
have landed on "the island".
It shall be interesting
to see what they bring
to the poetical table!!!
