I love an alpha male. No one sexier in the man pack. Oh, yes, I love an alpha male.
Until, or unless, he hikes his leg literally or symbolically and begins to piss on me.

Thank you for your read and comments, Darkness. I was inspired by a lunch conversation among women. "Alpha males" are okay to look at from a distance. I guess. LoL But, I find anytime I attempt a conversation with one, most of them are male chauvinist pigs and thick in the head. I will walk beside, anyone. But, I will bow down to no one, male or female. Because, I'm thick in the head, that way! Haha. Nir.

I like the joke going around that alpha males are the buggy unrefined first version, like how it works when a video game is in Alpha. Not ideal, haha.

I like the joke going around that alpha males are the buggy unrefined first version, like how it works when a video game is in Alpha. Not ideal, haha. As in, alpha equals the beginning and the game is slower? As opposed to omega when the game and action is faster? Or, as in, alpha equals beginners to that particular game? I am curious to know. The last time I played games were in video arcades in the Eighties. So, like twenty thousand years, ago. My favorites were Centipede, Millipede, Joust and Pac-Man. Lmbo. You are light years beyond the games I played. When I started buying video games and the various boxes to play them with for my son, I could never get the hang of the hand held controller version. I needed that big box arcade game to lean into one way or the other as I zipped around corners playing Pac-Man! Hehe It always dumbfounded him, that I couldn't play diddly squat on his game systems at home. But, when we did laundry, I could play the heck out of the beat up, "old school" video arcade game. Especially if it was any of the four I mentioned.

When a game is in Alpha, it's in its first playable version. As in, you can technically play it, but you might come across some bugs that haven't been worked out yet, and the game overall isn't as refined or as complete as it's going to be. There might be entire parts of the game that have yet to be added.
Beta is better, but you don't see it as often- usually after alpha or beta they stop putting the label on it and just call the game what it is.
You can probably get better / more accurate information if you look it up.

Also, the variety in games nowadays is honestly pretty stunning. You could probably find some newer games to play without much of a hassle. There are a lot of minimalistic games out there that hark back to arcade style games, and most of them are simple enough not to overwhelm you at first sight like some other games might.

I can see, you, on top of having a fabulously creative brain, are also techie smart.
I am still mind boggled by the things you are trying to teach me in the 'tonic-clonic...' thread!
