I show up for the money and I live for the clock-out. Just like you fake bitches. So don't be up in my grill. Sticking your face in mine acting like your bitch ass is about to go off left and right. Lay hands on me. I'ma about to heal you of that fucked up attitude. When I start whaling back on you with these fists.
We about to go down, way down. We gonna be on the ground. Get picked up by the local fuzz. Gonna lose both our jobs. All because your stressed out ass mistook me for a whipping post. Jumped up in my three feet of space like you thought you was mace. Gurrrl. You ought not to go there. I thought you knew me better. I done told you, chick. I ain't all white. Just mostly ...
An' my four generations back beautiful black grandmother must of been a militant Haitian woman. Born with a rebellious machete for a backbone. Bitch, what I'm saying is this three feet of personal space you're in, is my fuckin' island. So get the fuck back in your place. Stand down.

I certainly get the urban Rap feel and flow to this piece anirbas.
Though I'm not a great fan of rap myself I can still appreciate the art form for what it is.
I think this is really good. I can actually think of a groove that would go with this as I was reading this.

I'm an eccentric, musically. Bits of everything, I find I like, if not all of any given genre.
In my opinion, Rap is street poetry. I adore Fifty Cent and Eminem, Eve and Missy Elliot, to name a few. Yet, I don't exactly like every one of their offerings. I don't like Rap songs that glorify violence against police officers or the abuse of women.
As I wrote it I heard a rap beat in my head. But, I initially wrote it with street slang included. Yo' for your, for instance.
Thanks for your read and comments.
It was fun to imagine and pen.

I agree entirely on the street poetry... bottom line it is expression of thought, and I respect that.
Personally, I too have quite an eclectic taste in music from medieval, Tudor, classical, folk, Rock, Punk, Electronic, Metal, funk, punk, and the list goes on...
