Rancid

The creature rises from the bowels
of humanity
in opulent cover
it is a rancid blob of rotting fat
it oozes the orange rust of outdated despicable
ideas and attitudes
it reeks of ugly greed
the kind of selfishness
that exploits the place it lives
pushing the envelope
to extinction
which it sees as safely beyond it's
unworthy existence in this world.
Bold it is, so bold it does not even bother to
try to be charming or clever or eloquent
and yet it bedevils
it fools the fools
exposing some thought not to be fools
as just such!
relying on the mark of the dollar sign on it's head
as proof of it's right to lead us to ruin
and make us the laughing stock
of the free world.
No more do we lead
no more is our counsel
or our friendship of value.
it's stupidity has labeled us all
and so we are dismissed
as the ship of fools headed fast to ruin. . .
but this is no laughing matter because because it would usurp the very kingship of nature
a battle it will lose and we shall all pay the price.

No doubt who this is about aims.

In these 'enlightened' times the face that greets us on our TVs is a face from the past. A relic from a bygone age who's not adept on the world stage. However, he seems to have tapped into the psyche of sections of the population. He is playing a dangerous game for sure. History will note how this all pans out in the end.
