Recently we had Caucasian men
old enough to know better stomping
around a town in Washington state
calling themselves "Proud Boys"
Proud of what remains a mystery.
Their whiteness? Their self-entitlement?
Their bigotry and misogyny? Possibly proud
of the fact that for over four hundred years
they've had everything their way to begin
with in this country? Strutting around
with their chrome dome shiny bald heads
and overgrown lumberjack beards
They look more like Al Quada in britches
Somebody needs to give those racist
sons of bitches a few stitches
We've got powerful rich old white men toppling
from the corrupted pedestals they built themselves!
Howling the Patriarchy is in danger, men! In DANGER!
It's about to be trampled underfoot by the mean
and nasty Matriarchy! We're doomed, I tell you!
