Here, again, my friend My belov-ed, my heart's ease On adventure's edge We fling our arms high and wide Welcoming the next mission
A nod to the quest To mystery a hat tip Diligent research To lend credence to the road Saddle up and away we go
Two cats our besties Our sweet guardian angels The stars to guide us Our enduring love for warmth Who could ask for more than that?
Here, again, my friend My belov-ed, my heart's ease On adventure's edge We fling our arms high and wide Welcoming the next mission
We find ourselves

"We would sail up the Avenue, but we haven't got a yacht We would drive up the Avenue, but the horse we had was shot We would ride on a trolley car but we haven't got the fare So we'll walk up the Avenue Yes, we'll walk up the Avenue Yes, we'll walk up the Avenue till we're there"
A Couple of Swells, Irving Berlin

Together
Unsure of the future as the present appears peppered with chaos and flying cactus pots Once more and again my beloved my friend We will create a new beginning from dreams That become plans that become our reality
Together

as I read this again, it hits the mark, does it well, very well, David should worry about his fanbase here, well, not quite(some of his hit me rightly), but this one, for me, is a most excellent work Nir. Then again, ya'lls story, is my favorite, being the spectater(couldn't combine potato as well as I would have liked)to it from the B'net daze.....

Then again, ya'lls story, is my favorite, being the spectater(couldn't combine potato as well as I would have liked)to it from the B'net daze..... Dude, I would give anything if I could get Himself back in here, to chill with the quill with us all, again. Once he always became online, to work, he doesn't feel the urge to get back online when he's off. Blows my mind how many years it has been since we all met over at Bnet. I landed there in 2004, David McC in 2005. Dear Phantasm was already there before us, as well as my deeply missed Misharae. I believe I remember you and Aims landed in 2005? Or you might have already been in there, somewhere, I just hadn't read you, before 2005. That place is huge. I peep in from time to time. It doesn't look anything like it used to! I don't sign in. Can't remember my password. Hahahaha. The lament of the New Age. I can't remember my password. We definitely made lovely arses of ourselves over at Bnet in those years, David and I. Hard not to spectate/stare at a couple of blooming idiots. Hahaha. But, I wouldn't have missed it, for the world. Thank you for comparing my piece to some of his writings. That is high praise, indeed. He could encapsulate any moment and blow your mind, with the fewest of words. I miss him writing. I still read him.

~one more time
we stand accused of inspiring hope even when we were at our most hopeless our creative mentors and peers envision us as fierce even peerless because once upon a time once upon once upon a time once upon a time we were fierce even peerless or simply crazy and reckless
daring to dream daring to plan daring to unite this woman this man no matter the distance between us we adventured into the unknown believing we were better as a team than alone on separate continents ah time has flown and we've grown old dare we to manifest a dream again one more time one more time

~Here We Go
Steadily pulling up stakes Lowering tents to the ground This carnival is packing it in Gonna move to another town
Planning to do whatever it takes Going to make a joyful sound Moving forward for the win No more wearing this sad frown
Letting up on the brakes Popping the clutch away we bound This carnival is packing it in Gonna move to another town

Well, it's almost been a month since the move. We survived it somehow, or another. LoL Starting to settle into the new place. Spent the week putting furniture together. What a task that turned out to be.
We did end up moving into a fifty-five or older, senior community apartment complex. I must admit, it seems weird to see nothing but people, our age or older to me. Almost like a Twilight Zone episode. But, as my daughter pointed out to me, "Mom, you are old people, too." Still weird. I have never lived anywhere where all ages, are not represented, in the community. But, we do feel very safe here. It is a gated complex. Never lived in a gated complex, either.
Now, that I have been laid off as of January 8th, I am in so much less pain, it is almost like a miracle. Take a lot less pain management medications, as well. Going through the process of procuring disability. I should have started the process in 2013 when I was diagnosed with all these physical issues. Stubborn.
Anyway, if you're still dropping by, hoping to be in here a lot more myself. Everyone take care.
