I will no longer need or use the word forgiveness.
You can only forgive yourself and the term, the word and the way it has been attached in the phoneme, is more than dangerous, it is purely viral...depending on your religious slant.
For that matter sorry, apologize, promise and worry are words that best be in no one's head.
How much more could you do, if there was none of these things to rule and measure by...rather, by doing the right things on the get go.
Many will disagree with you, many will criticize, even go so far as to not agree and actually engage you in their idea of corrective change.
Pig slop differs from place to place and from area to area..based upon the average wealth of the area, there could be a higher level of protein or carbohydrate in the feed given to pigs in the form of "slop". I worked as a dishwasher when I was 13 and I remember putting all the scraps in a garbage can for the purpose of "slopping" the pigs. One thing is certain, they will bite chunks off each other when the "slopping" goes down. They all eat it voraciously and stay in their pins..they are controlled animals, nothing more than what has been subjected to them from previous captivity matters because it is the repetition of the same act...slaughterd, eaten, scrapped, slopped and slaughtered again...part of the cycle. What would happen to the pig that did not eat? Possibly it would be overtaken by the others and eaten live..Odd, a pig heart has been used to pump a human's blood and give them a little longer life...the same heart...different forms...so maybe, in many ways..it is not the form that truly matters but more the code, the processes...the whole gambit of yes, no and maybe that conducts a pig differently from a human...then the hard wiring..maybe it is the same...left to the lower brain, we are no different than pigs in some feast and famine way...they do have a limbic brain, as most mammals do...so they have emotions..but why do emotions not override the pig?...maybe it is not in the hardware completely...perhaps in the software...the particular BIOS program that evolved through selective conditioning and survival...somewhere there are stops in the capacity of a pig....we would see them and know we are far advanced to them..in just the benefit of the ability we have to compare and assess...
Comparative selection. We can see some people who have lost a sense of control, maybe even one of the stoppers of a biological program that then leaves the fat cells and endocannabinoid system so wide open that we have an 800 pound person...many people silently say pig...but what is working underneath all that coverage to do what they do..what is driving their actions and what is driving them.
Sometimes, the apparent is so easy to see, we forget the details that were riding like a tail caught in the door of our "fast acceptance" fo the situation.
Even me. I forgive myself for being the good son..for taking the definition of love as I have been giving it and imposing it upon myself and all in my life....for being the good son and waiting for permission lest I go too far...I have found this in my blocks, with some help...and I realize..children are often taught forgiveness, sorry, apologize...by the reactions to their actions, causing a "program change" a stop that causes the program to run unaltered, on its more "instinctive" nature...with the herd...never realizing the herd is having their necks rung...until the neck is rung...
Funny too, the pork in an Oscar Meyer weiner is not too widely different from the pork in a no name weinie...maybe even from the same pig..just various parts and "selection".
Sheep eat grass. Most grass has about the same nutritional content (there is something more in the cold tolerant grasses than others but it is minimal)..perhaps the soil is richer in one area than the other and there are a few more collodial deposits, but for the most part you can take a sheep across the country and it will eat whatever grass is before it..right down to the ground browning up the area. Eating grass is survival and most places where sheep graze, the grass is selected for its ability to be "closely cropped"....the sheep never know the difference and if left to their own, they could perish or decrease in numbers in relation with the grass' ability to restore itself and offer an edible portion..cyclically.
So much in life, is given the "grantedness" of automatic process...just get through it, get it over with...but does it cost the very support for which we perpetuate our life force? In the macro or micro view...one or everyone may be happy with their mouthful of grass right now...to get it now..now, now, now....
Man has put an expectation on number of the herd because of the demand of consumption, but in the natural world, there is a balance that is automatic and self-adjusting..without thought, without interruption adaptation and homeostasis is constant in the natural world...it is a delicate balance that does not select one species over the other either, some things go extinct because they no longer work and their capacity for immediate adaptation or conditioning ends their life line...even the code that differentiates the species from all others (funny that most of these derivations are small and fractional yet they yield a seemingly infinite variety of life forms from the DNA/RNA codes) much like the subtle variances in emphasis and phrasing in Beethoven's Fifth Symphony could resemble Highway to Hell though Beethoven's work has more than just the interworkings of the A, D with a walking F# and a G chords to make it work...both work in their own way. Even more funny is just how many popular songs have ADG chords as their whole composition or some variation therof, and yet, they still work and in some way are new. Some people can have ADG forever and feel they are getting something new..perhaps they are..somewhere in the formual of formulaic music, there is something original in nearly repeated passages that somehow make it new.
Yet in variation, there is still the herd...the mob...strength in numbers and when tried, these principles are most always proven true..then, reinforced in every way. Subtly, you do things and make your own decisions based upon the strict observances of cultural tradition...
How often are children taught what is right with them..to look for what is good and not the false good but the real deal. How much power is there in negativity? You watch the news and what they are talking about is interesting and it usually involves someone or someones involved in some sort of struggle, loss, accident, wrongdoing or negative outcome....do sheep only selectively eat the negatively ionized grass? No, don't..stop...bad girl, bad boy...you know only the "hot girls" are attracted to the "bad boys"...addicted to the cycle of drama...and what about the person that stops midstream--the mob will throw them out, they are the outcast..the "tribe" has spoken...I want to be that lemming with a big doobie in hand, sitting on a rock with a view watching the others jump..laughing all the way...could a lemming override the program or would it cause a great rift in homeostasis..even more, are there fish waiting below to eat the little suicidal carcasses....
I forgive myself for being the good and waiting son, waiting for permission to be seen and heard...to go ahead...
In the beginning and the end of life as we know it, you were always with you...who are you really fighting with sometimes in any external disagreeance. In the Hawaiin nature of oponopono...when you resolve the argument with yourself...whatever is "out there" will be the same...but sad when "out there" becomes "in here" as then, that is the root of all dis-ease.
Freedom is just another word for no thing left to lose and you can love nothing if you cannot give it its own freedom...a hard lesson for myself at times..
I am grateful for my next breath and glad for the one I just had.
I am amazed that in many attempts by parents and society to create what is right, they give the individual the converse gift of wrong for a name and an identity, until somehow, they find a way to work and earn the "grace" of right back. Perhaps instead of being "reborn" it is time to unbirth so many things attached to us..remember when you were really happy? What is it that you define happy as...and who gave you the definition?
Sometimes in the silence, the return is more than deafening...it is thunderous and pure.
