Chase the moon,
hold the stars
Giving yourself to those
close to you
Hold the wind,
feel the sun
Another life begins
a brand new start
Planets move
stars collide
Tears felt in the universe
a mother's anguished cry

Chase the moon
wish on the stars
A moments grief as other's
remember who in this world you now are
Hold the wind
kiss the sun,
Fingers grasp nothing
memories taunt and play
World turns slowly
mother's grief holds tight
Angel's cry in sadness
as we release you to the night
Our angel,
now has wings
An innocent, given flight
