I say do not fear death
a consequence of a life
that must have an end

truth is just waiting
for the winters lies to thaw
on a summers breeze

within the shadows
cold winds of hate are stirring
for what we hold dear

truth is hard to gauge
as the past always changes
to suit the victors

bleak is the outlook
when there is no room for change
in a world of pain

there is a saying
be careful what you wish for
for it might come true

[darkness0within]

tomorrows soon here
so now is the time to act
upon your life's goals

in the fog of war
which side can have victory
to a heart and soul

remember the past
and learn well from its lessons
taught for our future

divided we fall
as victims to those ruthless minds
who crave for power

we must be mindful
as the second wave descends
to our own safety

man made and driven
this virus to the four winds
by others mistakes

communication
a gift lost to the machine
and our facebook friends

foolish souls abound
not heeding to the mandate
that would save their lives

a flower opens
revealing all the splendour
that mature provides

so lost in this time
the nature of human kind
its strengths forgotten

in our tomorrows
the past should be remembered
for enlightenment

charity begins at home
not just for applause

the trinkets of life

a prince falls from grace
while the actress plays on
as self made victims

so lost they became
chasing dreams that never were
to leave them wanting

a responsibility
